IAFF General President Harold Schaitberger is back in Iowa December 18-21, talking to IAFF fire fighters in Mason City*, Marion, Cedar Rapids, Dubuque, Marshalltown and Des Moines* about supporting Chris Dodd for president by attending the January 3 Caucus.

Dear IAFF Member:

The Fire Fighters For Dodd Bus Tour through Iowa concluded December 6 in Des Moines. We stopped in about two dozen cities and talked to hundreds of IAFF fire fighters about supporting Chris Dodd for president. We postponed stops in Mason and Des Moines due to severe winter weather, but we will be back and we will hit those cities soon.

Across the state, I asked our members to stand together for this profession and our brother and sister fire fighters across the country by attending the January 3 Caucus in support of Chris Dodd. It's about loyalty to someone who has had our backs -- and your backs -- for more than 30 years. View Dodd's record.

When we stand with our brothers and sisters like I know we have done in countless elections, we show just how strong a political force we are. It's a challenge, but I know we can do it.

Let's get Chris Dodd a ticket out of Iowa and hand him off to our brothers and sisters in New Hampshire for the January 8 primary in that state.
